INTRODUCTION:

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself.  My husband and I have been involved in Real Estate for many years from property management to rental properties to buying and selling for ourselves and our customers.  I have been a licensed Realtor in the Fox Valley Area since 2003.  My husband, John, is a licensed Real Estate Broker, who currently works in commercial real estate as a Property Manager.  He also holds an Illinois Home Inspection License. 

Over the years, I have worked with first-time home buyers counseling them through the process of buying their first home.  I have assisted homeowners in the sale of their home and in evaluating property improvements to make their property more marketable.  I have advised investors about single-family and multi-family investments.  I have worked with relocation clients in helping their relocation go smoothly.  I have also helped homeowners who are facing financial difficulties by helping them assess what they need to do to protect themselves financially. 

Currently, I am specializing in Historic Homes and have advised clients who are interested in selling or purchasing a Historic Home.  I enjoy this aspect of my business as I have always been interested in history and the way people lived.  Historic Homes have a past and I enjoy researching homes to discover the story they have to tell.  In order to gain a better understanding about Historic Homes, I am working towards my Historic Preservation Certification.  

I have also broadened this category to include Classic Homes--those homes built after 1957 which have architectural detailing and interior design that set them apart.
